Porsche Interior Restoration After Accident Damage | Before & After

A luxury car interior deserves the same level of care and attention as the exterior — especially when the vehicle is a Porsche.
This 2024 Porsche convertible came to us after being involved in a heavy accident. While the exterior damage had already been addressed, the interior still showed several signs of impact and handling damage. The leather and interior trim had deep scratches, gashes, and visible wear marks in multiple areas.
Instead of replacing expensive interior parts, our goal was to carefully repair, restore, and refinish the damaged sections while preserving the original look of the Porsche interior.
Below are three key areas we restored.
1. Porsche Seat Headrest Gash Repair
One of the most visible damages was on the seat headrest. The leather had a noticeable gash caused during the accident, leaving the surface cut and rough.
For this repair, we carefully cleaned and prepared the area, reinforced the damaged section where needed, filled the gash, and sanded it smooth to blend with the surrounding leather surface. Once the shape and texture were restored, we custom-matched the color and refinished the headrest so the repair would blend naturally with the original Porsche interior.
The final result made the headrest look clean, smooth, and almost like new again.

2. Center Armrest Deep Scratch Repair
The center armrest also had a strong, visible scratch across the leather surface. On a luxury vehicle like a Porsche, even one deep scratch can make the whole interior look damaged and neglected.
We repaired the armrest by cleaning and degreasing the leather, smoothing out the damaged area, applying professional-grade leather repair materials, and carefully refinishing the surface. The color was matched to the original interior tone to help the repaired section disappear into the surrounding leather.
The goal was not just to cover the scratch, but to properly restore the surface so it looked natural and clean from different angles.

3. Porsche Steering Wheel Scratch & Damage Restoration
The steering wheel had some of the strongest damage in the interior. It showed deep scratches, surface wear, and overall visible damage from the accident.
Steering wheels require extra care because they are constantly touched, rubbed, and exposed to hand oils. A quick touch-up is not enough. The surface must be properly cleaned, prepared, repaired, refinished, and protected.
For this Porsche steering wheel, we restored the damaged areas, smoothed the scratches, matched the original color, and applied a durable protective finish designed for interior use. The result was a much cleaner, more refined steering wheel that matched the quality of the rest of the vehicle.

Why Repair Instead of Replace?
Replacing Porsche interior parts can be very expensive, especially for newer models. In many cases, leather scratches, cuts, gashes, and surface damage can be professionally repaired instead of replaced.
A proper interior restoration can:
Save money compared to replacement parts
Preserve the original factory interior
Improve the look and value of the vehicle
Make accident-related interior damage much less noticeable
Extend the life of the leather and trim
For this 2024 Porsche convertible, repairing the damaged sections was a smart solution that helped bring the interior back to a clean, luxury finish without unnecessary replacement.
